Program Structure
In the winterim session students will take classes at the SAIIE Center. Students in this program can chose from one of the following 3 credit courses:
- ART 301 World Art (Taught in English) - View syllabus
- MGT/MKT 301 Business Communication (Taught in English) - View syllabus
- MGT 360 International Management (Taught in English) - View syllabus
- SPA 354 Artistic Expression and Society in the Spanish Speaking World (Taught in Spanish) - View syllabus
- SPA 371 Business Spanish (Taught in Spanish).
Please note:
- Classes during the winterim are held from Monday through Friday, and the duration of the classes are 2hrs and 15 min.

Requirements
- A student must have at least sophomore standing at the time of participation.
- A student must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 grading scale.
- A student must be in good academic standing at the time of participation.
- For courses taught in Spanish, 5 semester college-level Spanish is required.

Winterm 2026 Program Cost Includes:
- UW-La Crosse Education Abroad program fees and support services before, during, and after the program
- SAIIE full-time tuition and fees
- Airport reception and on-site orientation
- 24/7 on-site support throughout the term
- Accommodation with most meals and one load of laundry per week
- Mandatory CISI health and medical evacuation insurance
- Program excursions (Granada & Córdoba day trips)
- Bus tour around the city
- Welcome and Farewell meals
Winterim 2026 Out-of-Pocket Costs Includes:
- U.S. Passport ($135)
- Airfare (estimated at $1,200)
- Meals not includes with accommodation (estimated at $150)
- Mandatory International Student Identification Card (ISIC) ($25)
- Local transportation (estimated at $50)
- Optional social/cultural weekly activities (estimated at $300)
- School supplies and books (estimated at $25)
- Additional travel and personal expenses (will vary based on students' spending habits, travel plans before or after the program, etc.)

Academic Credit, Grading, and Transcript
When you are accepted into the SAIIE program you should inform your academic advisor and study abroad office at your home campus about your intent to go abroad on our program to make sure you will receive all the credits that you take through the SAIIE program.

COCURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
CULTURAL/SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
We offer weekly optional activities (2-3) to our students throughout the program. Some of these activities can be a cooking class, going to a ceramic workshop, tapas evening tasting, etc
Before arrival we will send our students an email with the list of activities.
TRIPS
We offer every winterim a day trip to Cordoba and Granada which are included in program costs.
Please notice: this trip can be subject to change.
INTERCAMBIO PROGRAM
We offer a language exchange service, the “intercambio program”. Students interested please contact the director, Ms. Samantha Chipres, once you arrive in Sevilla.
