Our Winterim students visited yesterday another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the “Archivo de Indias” in Seville. This is the third UNESCO World Heritage Site they visit in Seville after visiting the “Catedral de Sevilla” and the “Alcazar the Sevilla”. Not many other cities in the world offer you this possibility, and at SAIIE, we give you the chance to study and learn the history of all three.

 Our group of students from Carleton College had the opportunity today to visit the olive oil farm "Basilippo". There our students were received by the owner and explained how they produce “Extra Virgen Olive oil”. They also visited the farm and saw the plantation, as well as the different machinery that is use to make this type of olive oil. The visit was finished with an oil tasting with chocolate ice cream which our students loved.

We took this evening our group of students from Carleton College and students from SAIIE studying through University of Wisconsin-Platteville to a soccer match to see one of the local teams of the city, Sevilla FC. Sevilla FC played against Dinamo de Zagreb and beat them 3-1! Our students had lots of fun!
