May 25 Orientation & classes begin
June 4 Spanish Holiday (No classes)
June 5 Mid term (session 1)
June 6 Optional day trip to the beach
June 7 Students session 2 arrive to Seville / Welcome meal Session I & II
June 8 Orientation & classes begin session 2
June 19 Final exam (session 1) / Midterm (session 2)
June 20 Last day to move out (session 1)
June 27 Optional day trip to the beach
July 3 Final exams and farewell meal
July 4 Last day to move out (session 2)

Please note:

  • If a student takes 6 credits during one session or 9 credits there will be an extra fee of $ 1,700
  • If a student wanted to take a class that was not offered because of low enrollment, they could for an extra fee of $ 1,000



Program Cost Includes:

  • UW-LaCrosse Education Abroad program fees and support services before, during, and after the program
  • UW-LaCrosse Transcript
  • SAIIE full-time tuition and fees
  • Mandatory CISI health and medical evacuation insurance
  • Airport reception and on-site orientation
  • 24/7 on-site support throughout the term
  • Accommodation with most meals and one load of laundry per week
  • Welcome and Farewell meals

Out-of-Pocket Costs Include:

  • U.S. Passport ($135)
  • Airfare (estimated at $1,200 - $1,500)
  • Meals not included with accommodation (estimated at $150)
  • Mandatory International Student Identification Card (ISIC) ($25)
  • Local transportation (estimated at $50). However, most Spanish people walk or grab the bicycle around the city.
  • School supplies and books (estimated at $10)
  • Optional program activities (estimated at $300)
  • Optional day trip to a beach town (estimated at $50 - $100) 
  • Additional travel and personal expenses (will vary based on students’ spending habits, travel plans during breaks, etc.)
  • Athletic Programs participants must pay an additional cost. Please see our athletics website.
