  • It is mandatory that every student takes the ART 301 World Art class taught in English or SPA 354 Artistic Expression and Society in the Spanish Speaking World class taught in Spanish at SAIIE.

  • Take a Spanish language course at SAIIE if not taking 3 classes at EUSA.
  • Choose 2 to 3 classes in the catalogue of EUSA, taking into account that if the timetable of these classes is not compatible with the classes offered by SAIIE then SAIIE will have absolute preference.

  • In the case of applying for classes offered at EUSA in Spanish, the student should have an advanced level (minimum 6 semesters in University) to be able to follow the class in a suitable way. 

  • if you choose a class taught in Spanish from the SAIIE program (except the Spanish language courses), you will need to have studied a minimum of 5 semesters of Spanish at university. This condition is crucial for the correct understanding and participation of the student

  • Have completed at least one full-time semester of college at the time of application and have at least sophomore standing at the time of participation.

  • A student must have a minimun cummulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 on grading scale (semester applicants)* or 2.25 GPA (winterim or summer applicants)**.

  • A student must be in good academic standing at the time of participation.

  • Students enrolling in EUSA courses will register at EUSA and will be able to make changes in their course schedule within the first week.

  • Each student must take between a minimum of 12 credits and a maximum of 18, per semester. Each class consists of 45 class hours, worth 3 credits.
  • Comply with the academic rules of SAIIE and EUSA.

 

**If your GPA is below 2.5, you are not automatically disqualified from studying abroad. Please contact SAIIE for more information.
