Students:

  • Must be taking ONE Language course at SAIIE
  • Must be taking one or two courses at EUSA (depending on if the student is taking a 3 or 6 credit Internship)
  • For Spanish classes taught at EUSA student should have a minimum of 6 semesters of Spanish college level or the equivalent to be able to follow the class in a suitable way.
  • Must go through an interview process, placement test, and a follow through with EUSA
  • Must have Medical insurance and Civil Responsibility Insurance
  • Must have 5 semesters of Spanish to participate in the Internship Program in Spanish.

    Please note: Internships where they require only English speaking might be available but depends on company and applicant.

Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 Program Cost*: $12,899 per semester


Please note:

  • SAIIE will drop $1,000 from the overall fees for ACADEMIC YEAR LONG students.


Fall 2026/ Spring 2027 Program Cost Includes:

  • UW-La Crosse support services before, during, and after the program
  • UW-La Crosse Transcript
  • Mandatory CISI health and medical evacuation insurance
  • SAIIE full-time tuition and fees
  • Airport reception
  • On-site orientation
  • Cultural engagement
  • SAIIE on-site staff support
  • 24/7 on-site support throughout the term
  • Internship program
  • Accommodation with most meals and one load of laundry per week
  • Program excursions: Weekend excursion (TBD) and Cordoba day excursion.
  • Welcome and Farewell meals

Fall 2026/ Spring 2027  Out-of-Pocket Costs Include:

  • U.S. Passport ($135)
  • Spanish Visa (estimated at $160)
  • Airfare (estimated at $1,200 - $1,500)
  • Meals not included with accommodation (estimated at $900 per semester)
  • Mandatory International Student Identification Card (ISIC) ($25)
  • Local transportation (estimated at $150 per semester)
  • School supplies and books (estimated at $75)
  • Personal expenses ($600 - $1200 per semester)
  • Civil Responsibility Insurance (estimated at $175 per 4 weeks)
  • 2 Weekend Trips not included ($300 each per semester) / Day trip not included ($75)
  • SAIIE optional social/cultural weekly activities ($700 per semester)
  • Athletics programs
  • Any costs due to possible quarantine requirements due to COVID-19
