About SAIIE
The Spanish-American Institute of International Education (SAIIE) was founded in 1984 and has been hosting the study abroad program for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville ever since. SAIIE runs all year round Study Abroad Programs, Athletic Programs, and Faculty-Led Programs.
SAIIE’s academic programs offer a personalized intercultural learning experience in a fully integrated Spanish-speaking environment. In all our programs we strive for academic excellence, cultural immersion and social integration. In addition to the classes themselves, which provide the core of the learning experience, we structure our programs so as to enhance learning opportunities through: field trips, cultural and social activities with Spaniards, conversation partnerships with native speakers (intercambios), volunteering opportunities, internships, sports programs and accommodation in Spanish homes.

Planning and Development Position
Tasks:
- Social Media: Management of all our social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Creating Databases
- Research new clients and create new profiles
- Management of website (Helping to improve the content)
- Translation from Spanish into English (depending on level of Spanish)
- Creating and designing brochures, and newsletters
Intern qualities and skills for this position:
- Studies Business, Advertising, PR, Marketing
- High level of written English
- Possesses a high level of knowledge of working with Microsoft Office and Google Drive
- Loves doing research
- Be very organized and meticulous
